Appraisal services are available by appointment in the privacy of your home, office, or our office. All appraisals are conducted according to generally accepted professional standards and adhere to the Code of Professional Ethics established by the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). As a member of NAJA, Rick's work complies with the NAJA Client's Bill of Rights.
A jewelry appraisal involves a certified professional examining a piece or collection of jewelry to determine its monetary value. This process typically results in a document detailing the object's characteristics and assigned value.
During appointments, you will sit directly across from me, enabling you to observe, ask questions, and engage in the evaluation process. Some items may require further market research, which might extend the time needed to complete the report.
